WINNER OF THE 2018 BOSTON COMEDY FEST!!!
After being born the fourth of three children, Nancy Norton began touring as a stand-up comedian in 1991 and has toured nationally and internationally, headlining clubs, colleges, cruises and USO tours.
Nancy is known for performing uniquely funny shows that connect with universal truths through her intuitive, high energy, fast paced, and engaging style. Nancy Norton is also a Registered Nurse and delivers hilarious healthcare anecdotes that will leave you in stitches… and really wanting to stay out of the hospital.
You may have seen her on various comedy showcases over the years, from doing stand-up on Evening at the Improv on A&E, to her one-woman show, The Yellowish-Green Girl on PBS and most recently featured on Nickmom Night Out on Nickelodeon.
Nancy is a local legend who just became the first woman to ever win the Boston Comedy Fest on Saturday, September 15th 2018!
Feature Comedian Matt Baca is a nationally touring comedian having worked with some of the biggest names in comedy today, including Bill Burr, Hannibal Burress and Maz Jobrani.
He has performed in the prestigious L.A. and Boston Comedy Festivals, has appeared on NBC, ABC, and most recently on Laughs TV show on FOX. In addition to his television work and club work, he is an in-demand entertainer for corporate events, with clients ranging from Boeing to PepsiCo.
Currently living in Los Angeles, Matt is a working actor, having starred in several feature films as well as in commercials for Discover Card and Toyota. He can be seen at clubs, corporate events and showcase shows all over Los Angeles.
In the summers, you can see Matt in the classroom at institutions of higher education. Currently adjunct lecturer at the University of Colorado at Boulder’s MBA program as well as the University of California at Irvine, Matt is the “ADD Professor” and is always keeping his finger on the pulse of what’s happening with the youth and the world today, and incorporating it in his act.
Host Terri Barton Gregg:
A Very Funny Professional Stand-Up Comedian, producer, promoter, and comedy booker. Terri Barton Gregg is also known as the The Hebrew Hairdresser. Gregg has used her colorful backstory, wit and wry observations to create her unique comedic voice for nearly a decade. Barton Gregg can be seen regularly at the Denver Improv Comedy Theater and Loonees Comedy Corner. Terri produces, promotes and performs on Comedy And Concerts LIVE at the Lake House, Comedy & Concerts Live at The Lake House Pelican Bay, Noonan's Nice & Naughty, UnBeLEAPable Comedy at Lone Tree Brewing, Float Your Boat at the Lake House, Live at Jack's, Colorado PBS Sounds on 29th for Colorado PBS, Sounds on 29th Comedy Special plus a litany of other venues across the country. Gregg is the sole owner and proprietor of Hold Please Productions. A portion of the proceeds for all of Terr iBarton Gregg's performances and productions are donated to one of her many philanthropic projects
Comic Headliner John Novosad, a.k.a. Hippieman will kick off the evening!!
John is a stand-up comedian based out of the Comedy Works in Denver, Colorado. He's performed in clubs, theatres and bars across the country for over thirty years. John grew up in
Boulder, Colorado. Making his network television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, John followed that up with a second performance on the Ferguson show. He's also appeared on Bryon Allen's nationally syndicated Comedy.TV.
The Evening's Concert Will Swing well Into The Night With: Jacob Larson & The Jacob Larson Band are a funk and soul ensemble combining powerhouse vocals, classic instrumentation and an old school approach to music that just about everyone loves. Digging inspiration from the roots of soul religion, the band shares their own take on such notable influences as Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, Sam Cooke and Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Jacob, a prodigious entertainer with a strong and soulful voice, leads the band with true dynamic flair and presence, delivering the goods with a performance that moves and excites concert-goers of all ages.
Combining some of the best musical talent around, the band is available for booking as a 10 piece unit including horns and accompanying vocalists.
